How RedFox Homes handles the information you give us when you enquire about renovation work.

Who we are

RedFox Homes is a property renovation business owned and operated by Darryl Johnson, based in Wantage, Oxfordshire. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

You can contact us about privacy at redfoxdevelops@gmail.com or on 07731 945813, Mon–Sun 9am – 7pm.

What information we collect

When you complete an enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, email address, property postcode (if you provide it), the project type you select, and anything you write in the message field.

If you call or email us directly, we hold the contact details and project information you share in that conversation.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out a free site visit, prepare a scope of works and quotation, and deliver and manage any project you instruct us on.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your agreement.

Lawful basis

We process enquiry information on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to prospective clients, and, where you go on to instruct us, on the basis of performing our contract with you. Where we are required to keep records for tax, building control or licensing purposes, we process that information to meet our legal obligations.

Sharing your information

Where a project requires it, we share the minimum necessary information with the independent subcontract trades working on your property, and with building control, licensing or other statutory bodies where compliance work makes that necessary.

We also use ordinary business service providers such as email and enquiry-handling systems, which process information on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not proceed are kept only as long as they remain useful for follow-up, and are then deleted. Records relating to completed projects are kept for as long as needed for guarantee, warranty, insurance, tax and legal purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, or object to how we are using it. Contact us and we will deal with the request.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
